Kyoto Rock in Boca Raton

Excellent lunch spot. Clean, fast, and quiet. Sushi quality was decent - the fish (tuna, salmon, escolar, wahoo) were quality cuts, but the rice was a bit too bland for my taste. Had a wahoo hand roll in addition to the sushi/sashimi lunch combo - both of which were satisfying. Fish quality is definitely a priority for this spot and it's certainly worth the money.

Love love this place!! The staff is awesome, the sushi is probably the best I've had in Boca. The Odon noodles are amazing. And!!! If you buy two beers, you get a round of sake for free. I love going there for a great dinner experience one night, and late night on a Saturday for sake bombs

Their hours are incorrect on Google. Worth calling to see if they're open!!! The sushi was outstanding! Best I've tried in Boca. If you have room, order the tempura cheesecake; order it even if you don't have room. Actually, just start with that. The service was really good too. Nice staff and chef. Cheers!

The most fresh, delicious sushi/oriental dishes anywhere - I have found no place like it in the the tri-county area! Better than Nobu, in my opinion. And, #KyotoRock has an amazing happy hour (3:30p - 6:30p everyday) menu, drinks and pricing. Calm, cool atmosphere with awesome service. My absolute favorite place to relax and eat! ❤

Great Sushi! These guys are top notch. The fish is fresh the servers are upbeat and friendly I highly recommend sitting at the sushi bar and getting the chefs choice. You will not be disappointed.

This little place had delicious sushi . No matter what kind we ordered , it was amazing . A very limited alcohol menu. No wine , just Asian inspired martinis or beer. Service was excellent and not crowded early but filled in. Get there early bc the seating is limited .

Kyoto Rock is the best place in town to get sushi. First of they have a friendly staff, easy to understand menu, and most important their food just dances on your taste buds. Eating her leaves you full and satisfied but you don't drag throughout the day like most fatty foods make you.

The sushi is delicious; Nelson creates awesome speciality rolls. Miss salmon is like eating candy; it melts in your mouth. The service is top notch. The restaurant really rocks! Best sushi in Palm Beach county.

A standout sushi restaurant

This was our first time coming here. I knew of this place just from the amazing reviews online. We were in the area and decided to try it for lunch today. It was AMAZING. Honestly hands down the best sushi we have had in Boca. Definitely a hidden gem. The service was awesome! In addition to the great sushi, the miso soup was also wonderful and the regular spring salad with ginger dressing was great!! We will definitely return!!

Sushi and sashimi are consistently fresh and well prepared. Good deals on the happy hour menu until 6:30. Don't pay attention to the complaint on the service. It has always been friendly and fast, and I have been there a dozen times. It is small, so they could get overwhelmed, but it has never happened to me.

The food and sushi guys are excellent as always but the server Friday night was the worst ... Zen. We know sometimes people have bad days but .... we arrived at 11:00 pm knowing they closed at 12:30 am, So we ordered quick and we knew what we were gonna eat. Since we set in the table the server tried to moved us to another table even if the dining was almost empty with just two tables living at that time. Second we ordered APPETIZER and it was the last part of our food, also he forget one of our rolls. When we ask for the roll he told us we didn’t order that, so we have to wait until they make the other roll. So we ate and at 12:10 we left. I’m so disappointed because we love that sushi but if the service is gonna be like that... I guess we will pass.

Absolutely the best sushi I've had in South Florida. The place is tiny, but very comfortable and nicely decorated. The ingredients used are super fresh and everything is beautifully presented. The staff is friendly and the chefs are wonderful! They even offer a happy hour menu! I HIGHLY recommend this place. You will not be disappointed. :)

Consistently good sushi. Smalll, low-key place. Locals know it, we go at least a couple times a month. Service is fast and friendly. They have a great happy hour with drink and appetizer specials.

Best sushi I’ve had in Florida by far!! The restaurant is always kept super clean and the happy hour is at convenient times. I have tried multiple items on the menu and everything was amazing. I highly recommended the Wahoo Nuggets and Calamari for appetizers and the “Off the Chain” Roll for an entree. The servers are always tentative and kind, and the chefs go above and beyond. I’ve been going here for years and it gets better every time I go. Hidden gem for sure!!

This place is amazzzzing. Every roll was as flavorful as the last. I had two rolls and a dessert and it was super affordable. This was my first time here and it certainly won't be the last.

Order take out based on the reviews. First time customer. Excellent and fresh. The website ordering was so easy and you can customize your sushi rolls. Will definitely be back again.

It's a really tiny place, and when I went there mid-day on a weekday it was completely empty. I ordered the Rock Roll with eel sauce and tell me how it was so good. The presentation was beautiful and the serving was pretty generous. Usually at other places I've gone to, 6 pieces come with a $10 roll. The Rock Roll was about $13 and the service was really nice. The waitress answered all of our questions without being annoyed or anything like that. I'd definitely recommend this place if you're craving sushi rolls at a moderately affordable price. They also have a bunch of other non-sushi things and I plan on going again and trying different stuff. P.S. It's very close to FAU, if you want to go someplace nice for lunch.

Great service, happy hour, and sushi. Sake was better than most I've gotten which came free with 2 beers. (lol I didn't drink all off that by myself)
